I don't want to seem "slack" or "incensitive"
but this post will be written as if the words "politically correct"
were never invented.
A t my highschool there was a "downer" class. They kept to themselves
and had special classes but they were allowed to mingle with the "normal"
kids during lunch and other events.
There was one girl who had a deformed arm and her name was "Twisty".
I'm not sure if any of the other kids had knicknames as all I remember
was Twisty. This kind of described the way in which she walked.
Everytime she walked past the area we ate lunch Jamie would wave to her
and say hi. She would wave back and get all shy. Jamie was basically being
mean by making it seem like he liked her. Ahh the games we play.
I'm not even sure if it was a "special poeple" class but I never
saw any of them in any of my classes and they had their own classroom
behind the library. Do all schools have special classes?
I wonder what Twisty's real name is and what the entire class is doing
now.
