• Not many people live in solar powered houses
With this in mind why do people feel it is OK to leave lights on all around the house, even when they are not in the room. Yeah you may go back to the kitchen in an hour but hey turn the light off for that hour and help save the environment.
I'm not asking you to recycle as that hard even pick up after yourself in the street as who uses rubbish bins. All I'm asking is that if you leave a room you turn the light off. I can't see it being a hassle as turning the light on wasn't that hard.
While your feeling so environmentally friendly why not buy yourself a neon light globe. (not a Mirabella they are fucked)
They may be more expensive but last 15-20 times longer and use less power for the same light. They don't give off as much heat that's where other light bulbs waste power.
So in conclusion turn off the lights, have sex in the dark, enjoy the movie on the couch like you do in the cinema, buy a neon light globe.
