Just by banning car racing we could significantly reduce the amount of carbon dioxide and fuel emissions in every western country.
Here are a few questions to make you think.
Why are people made to feel guilty about not car pooling to work or driving instead of using public transport, when the average car is a small, 4 cylinder??
For those that do use public transport ,doesn't your small contribution feel wasted while these guys race their 'Super Cars' around Bathurst??
Do we really need to see who is 'King of the Mountain??
Can't we put all those sponsorship dollars into helping the environment or funding research for an efficient renewable power source??
Wouldn't it be great to find out that you have skin cancer because the Ozone layer has bee screwed so many times by car racing??
Final Thoughts
I feel guilty if I leave the light on somewhere, but I feel angry knowing that all my efforts are being wasted due to car racing.
The only people that will really miss car racing are the drunken rev heads in singlets. If they complain about this drastic, but necessary, move then I propose a culling system where they are killed and used for glue.
